Acetylcysteine 600mg + Acebrophylline 100mg Tablet
QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION: Each tablet contains 600 mg of Acetylcysteine + Acebrophylline 100mg. INDICATION: In Moderate to Severe Asthma and COPD Patients, DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION: Dosage - One tablet/day is recommended for adults and older. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients. Individuals under 14 years of age. WARNING AND PRECAUTION: Bronchospasms may occur with N-acetylcysteine use, requiring immediate discontinuation. Severe skin reactions are rare but possible; medical advice is needed if new skin changes occur. UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: Nausea, dizziness, abdominal discomfort/distension, vomiting, heart burn, constipation, breathlessness, leukocytosis. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Allopurinol, ciprofloxacin, corticosteroids, diltiazem, erythromycin, furosemide, isoprenaline, thiabendazole, verapamil, doxycycline may reduce clearance of active ingredients and hence dose reduction may be advised. Caution is advised in severe asthma. USE IN SPECIAL POPULATION: Not recommended in pregnancy as well as during parturition. Safety of Acebrophylline is not established during lactation.
